WE’RE HIRING AN ANDROID TEAM LEAD
We're looking for a person who will lead one of our development teams - the Android team. The team currently consists of 3 developers, with the whole Technology department at 28 developers & engineers. Our architecture is based on MVVM with Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow and Jetpack, wrapped in a custom template framework which helps us jumpstart projects with ease. Our Android app deployment process is supported by GitLab CI/CD, app versioning using semantic-release which also creates changelog for each version and of course, various Firebase tools to help us deploy test versions, track app health and analytics, all connected with automatic deployment flow.
We develop digital products through all phases (strategy, prototyping, MVP development, growth), and our projects include sports-oriented startups, lifestyle apps and AR-focused startups, among others. We have a high emphasis on creating value for our clients and the quality of our work. We continuously measure and improve the Developer Experience of all developers in the department.
Salary range we are offering for this position is 24k-40k HRK (brutto 1) — depending on your experience and skill-set.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You’ll be responsible for leading the team — This includes guiding them through career development, giving them regular feedback on what’s going well and what to improve, providing technical mentorship and helping them in areas in which they’re not knowledgeable enough. You will also be responsible for the hiring of new team members and creating a hiring plan for the team.
You’ll drive the quality of the entire team. As a Team Lead, you are responsible for the delivery and performance of your entire team. You will work alongside other Team Leads and the Head of Technology to increase the quality and the Developer Experience in the department. You’ll take the lead on complex projects, help create a quality standard for the team, actively participate in code reviews and solve roadblocks and issues that pop up for you team. Since you will have less time for writing code than members of your team, you will focus on key areas and features that will make the most impact for the projects & the team.
